Wishful Wednesday :: White Skinny Jeans



Thank you for your suggestions and input on watches from last Wednesday. I'm still shopping around.

I've also been looking for a good pair of white skinny jeans. It's really hard because white can be so trivial sometimes. It can be see through, it gets dirty easily, and the fabric makes a big difference!

Maybe I'm just really picky but I want to make sure they fit right. White is also difficult in the sense that it can make you look bigger than you actually are... or can make you look in-proportionate. At least I feel that way. I'm about 5'4" and I'm not super tall and thin but I'm also not that short either. I've tried on pairs where they fit buuuuuuut... it was too thin and exposed everything! Or, I've tried some on where it was the right thickness of fabric BUT... it was not flattering.

I've also been thinking about getting a pair of den.m|bar skinny jeans too. They recently just got white denim into their shop. I happened to stop by this past weekend and saw that. I have yet to get my own pair. And when I do, I'll definitely blog about the process which is utterly cool. And I am not being biased. I think the concept of having custom jeans is awesome.     yes white pants are hard to find, i still haven't found a pair either! to answer your question im in washington now and as far as liking it better...there are some things i enjoy more like the natural beauty of the pacific northwest is amazing! but of course there are thing i miss about home too

    Both of my white jeans are from J Crew and I love them. They aren't see through at all (I hate that) and they fit pretty well. Give them a try!

    I have been trying to hunt down the perfect pair of white skinnies as well and purchased the JBrand because it was amazingly soft...however it stretches! That's my only complete so I think I'll check out the Joe's ones. Do you know if the material is soft?

      You know, I'm not sure. The friendboy has a couple of pairs of Joe's that he absolutely loves and yes, is soft. Now that we have den.m bar, we invest in the premium denim materials and I've felt those.. they're pretty soft and solid.

    I love the way white pants can make an outfit look so polished but you're right they are definitely tricky, even though I wear my pair of white pants often I still feel like it's not the right one. I found a pair at tjmaxx or marshalls for $15 by Parisblues a few weeks ago but I didn't get a chance to try them on (bummer). I wish you lotsa luck in your search for the perfect pair, I can't wait to see what you find :)

    OH my god - that Denim Bar thing looks so cool! There's a guy who does that locally where I"m from, and now I'm seriously considering getting a pair made.

    White jeans are SO hard to find - because they sort of show off everything, so they need to fit right. Black disguises, but white brings to the forefront.

    I actually tried on an awesome pair at Topshop last week, so you should check them out. I don't know if we have similar body types, but they were the perfect length (you can customize 32 34 or 36 inseam) and not too low, not too night waisted.

      Thanks for the tips! I've tried H&M before... sometimes I find their sizes run small. But other than that, they are very cost effective!
