Rebecca Minkoff Sunglasses

Photo Courtesy of Baumvision

While at work looking for a specific frame for a patient, I ran into Rebecca Minkoff's newest addition to her stylish family: Sunglasses! I am pretty excited about this line. I am thinking about purchasing some for the office and see what the general public response is. I think between myself and other buyers that have come through, I am probably the more "daring" one of the bunch. The area I am in has been known to be more conservative than others. We're located by many corporations and professional buildings/businesses. But, I still like to add color to the mix.

Here's a sneak peek at the new collection:

My absolute favorites are 3 & 4. What about you? You might see me rockin' a pair of these in a future shoot (if I can get my hands on a pair).

My sources say that these pretty sunglasses will be available in a couple of weeks, if not sooner! And the price range will be anywhere from about $155 - $225.

What do you think about the new sunglass collection? Which is YOUR favorite?

Wishful Thinking Wednesday :: Chanel, Louboutin, & Marc Jacobs, Oh My!

I'm sure every girl dreams up of things she wished she could have in her closet. I have yet to own a real Chanel purse, Louboutins, and peplum!! I so crave for peplum in my life!

What are some of the things you crave?

Tuesday Tastings :: Cuban Goodness

Finally had a chance to eat at Versailles. I hear mixed reviews about this place. Some people really like it. Some people think it’s overrated. I think I’m at the middle of the road here.

Ropa Vieja and plantains. Very good! Very tender.

Oxtail stew and plantains. A little on the salty side.Very moist nonetheless.

Overall a good experience. I think some of the better Cuban food (in the U.S.) has to come from Miami if anything. We had some delicious food there. If you ever get to go, please visit Puerto Sagua for their Ropa Vieja and for Peruvian, go to CVI.CHE 105. Best ceviche ever.

Have yourself a tasteful Tuesday of your own. Mmm!

Hachi Monday :: Cone of Shame

I felt so anxious to see Hachi as we were on our way to pick him up on Saturday morning. We finally parked and walked in and it was packed! Go figure on a Saturday. We finally spoke to the vet and he reported that he did just fine! He did have a more complicated neutering since one of his testicles was actually stuck in his abdomen. It’s funny because when I tell guy friends about this, they cringe. I won’t post pictures of his stiches and where they are for the male readers, if any.
Needless to say, Hachi is back home and resting. He has been a little sluggish here and there but still seems to have his happy-go-lucky, excited attitude about everything, despite his circumstances.
Here’s a few photos of him from over the weekend:
