Yes. Just a weekend. The friendboy and I are here to attend one of his friend's wedding. I'm excited to share their special day but at the same time, kind of sad that we couldn't spend more time here. It's about a 5 hour and change in minutes, flight to Maui. It's okay. I'm just happy we were able to come... if even for a few days.
The exciting thing so far was that we got to fly first class here! I've never flown in any other class than coach... a.k.a. "economy". I know how it feels to be the economy seater, walking by to get to my economy seat, and eying the first class and business class travelers along the way. No hard feelings... just thinking, "must be nice." Well, now that I was sitting in first class, I purposely looked down at my book I was reading as to not make eye contact. I felt bad!! The only reason why we even got these seats was because it was a free upgrade. We didn't even pay for it!
Anyway... to give you a glimpse of first class from my view (not rubbing it in... just excited I finally got to experience it... after the economy seaters were seated):
We were given our own digital players. It was equipped with movies (I finally watched The Descendants - great movie), music, music videos, games, internet, amongst other things.
We were fed food! You usually don't get anything to eat in economy... we also got drinks too... "special" drinks. I had myself a mimosa-like drink: champagne & orange/pomegranate juice.
Fruit was not all we had. We were also given eggs and kahlua pork atop an english muffin with bechamel sauce. Oh and a tomato.
Totally not used to this kind of treatment. It was nice to experience it and now be able to say, "Yes, I've done that."
Looks amazing! Totally not used to that kind of treatment either! haha!

Oh definitely First Class is such a nice way to fly and the best when it's a free upgrade! I've flown it several times because we were gifted upgrades by our parents. And Hawaii is definitely a nice treat, even for a few days. I feel like there are never enough days in Hawaii - it's my fave place! Can't wait to see pics!

Ooh, that mimosa with Pom juice sounds yummy! I enjoyed your Maui photos. I live on Oahu and rarely get to go to Maui for pleasure...usually for work.
